STEP & CURE

About Us

Step & Cure is a non-profit residential facility that is committed to improving the lives of orphans and adults with mental and physical disabilities. We serve all kinds of disabilities: autism, mental retardation, cerebral palsy, schizophrenia, paralysis, hearing impaired, the blind, and terminal ill. These individuals have been rejected by their families and society, and we are usually their last hope for living a dignified life or, in some cases, dying with dignity.

Our team is made up of passionate individuals who are dedicated to making a difference in the world. We believe everyone deserves a chance to live a happy and fulfilling life, and we work hard to make that a reality for those in our care. We provide a range of services, including a loving home, nutritious food, education, medical care, physical therapy services, and social interactions. Our team of professionals is highly trained and experienced, and we are committed to providing the best possible care and support to our residents.

Our organization was founded on the belief that everyone deserves love, care, and support, regardless of their circumstances. We are proud to have helped countless individuals over the years, and we are committed to continuing our work for many years to come. If you would like to learn more about our organization or how you can get involved, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Our Founder: Dr. Sobia Adnan

Step & Cure was founded by Dr. Sobia Adnan, a licensed and certified psychologist from Belgium with a specialization in special education and behavior modification. In 2017, she opened her first center for special education in Sialkot, Pakistan, and later established Step & Cure in Islamabad in 2021. Dr. Sobia’s hard work and dedication have helped to fill a dire need for such a center in the area.
Dr. Sobia has written her curricula for special education soon to be published and implemented in Pakistan.
